FINAL CONSIDERATIONS ON THE RECOVERY PROJECT

Collection based on two waste containers, one for undifferentiated fraction and one for multi-material and paper; the collection of other types or fractions of urban waste is assigned to eco-islands (recycling sites).

The collection fractions are processed in specific plants. In these plants the materials are upgraded during the various selection stages in order to maximize their value.

The plants are designed and developed with the best technologies currently available and are in compliance with the regulations in force regarding Health, Safety and Environmental Protection, namely:
- prevention and protection against every specific risk
- work health and safety
- fire prevention
- air pollution prevention
- water pollution prevention
- noise pollution prevention

The plants are modular and can thus be expanded and integrated according to specific needs and financial plans.

The system proposed has already been successfully implemented in Italy. It does not include the integration of separate 'wet' waste collection for the production of COMPOST.    Such integration can be implemented after appropriate feasibility studies have been carried out in the pertinent area.    The compost achieved with our system is HIGH QUALITY COMPOST, an organic amendment that can be used in agriculture.
